Overview: Record everything that your phone’s microphone picks up, while still using the phone as usual.
Record everything that your phone’s microphone picks up, while still using the phone as usual. The recording is done in the background. It will not stop until you tell it to stop. It will re-start itself if the phone reboots. No pushing of volume buttons three times, no intricate procedures to start and stop recording! No accidental recording or accidental failure to record!
Just open the app and click either Start or Stop. Click the Home button to hide the app in the background, while it is recording.
BSR has a special feature lacking in many other covert sound recording apps: FTP uploading! If you set up your own FTP server and enter its hostname, login name, and password to BSR settings, BSR will be able to upload each recorded file to that FTP server. This opens endless possibilities for audio surveillance and audio documenting.
BSR can be set up to keep your phone’s internal storage memory from running out. Just set the maximum folder size, and BSR will delete the oldest recordings as soon as the folder size exceeds the maximum.
BSR can be set up to record by schedule. Set the Start At and Stop At times and click Start Recording. It will wait until the Start At time, record until the Stop At time, and then wait again. This cycle will repeat forever, or until the device breaks down, or until you click Stop.
